Notice of No Conference

Dear AAGP Members,

The Executive Committee regrets to inform you that we will not be hosting a conference this June. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity or resources to put together this size of event at this time. We hope to bring forward different opportunities to learn and network as a group in the near future!  If you have any questions, please contact us

In lieu of our own conference, we encourage members to check out the following events taking place throughout our region:

Canadian Cartographic Association’s conference Coast to Coast to Coast  being held at COGS this year from May 27th – May 29th. Their keynote speaker will be Allen Carroll, author of Telling Stories with Maps.

GEOMOB Fredericton:  May 26th, 2026 #geomobYFC
The first ever Geomob Fredericton will take place at 7:00 PM on Tuesday the 26th of May, 2026 at Maybee Brewing, 559 Wilsey Rd, Fredericton, New Brunswick

AICON Halifax: May 28th-29th
Join us in Halifax, Nova Scotia Thursday 28 May & Friday 29 May 2026 for the first AICON Canada. Brought to you by Kainos, AICON Canada is an opportunity to engage in thought-provoking sessions about the ways AI increasingly touches our lives, and how we can advance its best capabilities in service to the public good.  Building on AICON conferences led by Belfast-based tech powerhouse Kainos in both Belfast and Silicon Valley, this inaugural Halifax edition brings together leading voices from business, academia, and government to ask: How can AI be harnessed to transform public services while building stronger, more prosperous and more inclusive communities?  Our People-First approach to AI will be distinctively Nova Scotian but include voices from Ireland, the UK and from across Canada.  Belfast and Halifax share deep-rooted connections through history, migration, and culture. Now, AICON Halifax aims to reimagine those ties for the digital age – forging a new chapter of transatlantic innovation and collaboration and shining a spotlight on the tech advances of both cities.
