We offer an array of memberships levels to fit your current and future career status. The information below will assist in determining if you qualify to apply for membership.

FULL MEMBERSHIP:  $75 annually *

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:  $50 annually * 

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP:  $10 annually

RETIRED MEMBERSHIP: $10 annually

Note:  Student and Associate members have the same rights and privileges as that of Full members with the exceptions being that they cannot vote on any matter and cannot be an officer or councillor of the association.

* Organizations who have five (5) or more members enrolled in the AAGP are eligible to receive a 20% discount on their membership fees (group membership rate begins in June 2023.  Current membership rates apply to all new members until May 31, 2023)

 

FULL MEMBERSHIP may be granted at the discretion of the Membership Committee to a resident who has applied to be a member who:

  • Graduated from a program related to Geomatics or Planning of an accredited post-secondary institution with more than one (1) year of work experience in the Geomatics or Planning fields.
    OR
  • Direct experience working in Geomatics or Planning for four (4) years with no formal education in the field.

    
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP may be granted at the discretion of the Membership Committee to an individual who has applied to be a member and who has:

  • Graduated from a program related to Geomatics or Planning of an accredited post-secondary institution, with less than one (1) year of full-time work experience in the Geomatics or Planning fields.
    OR
  • Direct experience working in Geomatics or Planning of less than four (4) years with no formal education in the field.


STUDENT MEMBERSHIP may be granted at the discretion of the Membership Committee to an individual who is enrolled in a program and / or course related to Geomatics or Planning from an accredited post-secondary institution.

 

RETIRED MEMBERSHIP may be granted at the discretion of the Membership Committee to an individual who has retired from working in Geomatics and Planning.
